The National Alliance of Women’s Organisations (NAWO) is a coalition of over 100 female-led organisations advocating for gender equality and female empowerment in the UK, Europe and globally, advocating for issues like female political participation and female empowerment.

Dr Justina Mutale is named African Woman of the Year, the founder of the Justina Mutale Foundation and a bestselling author of “The Art of Iconic Leadership: Power Secrets of Female World Leaders”, and co-author of “Women on Corporate Boards: An International Perspective. Featured in FORBES Magazine and other global publications.
Awarded an OBE in 2004 for her services to diversity, Annette Lawson served as the former Chairperson at NATO. She began her career in academia – from a sociologist at the LSE, to a visiting professor at Stanford and Berkley – then later transitioned into authorship and into a leading trustee of several feminist organisations. She also founded the charity “The Judith Trust” to help people with learning disabilities and mental ill-health.
Charlotte Moore is final-year university stuent at Central Saint Martins. Despite her young age, she has advocated for female technological literacy in developing countries and the misuse of AI in perpetuating gender violence in NAWO. Her current thesis discusses the postmodern shift of religion and how it intersects with gender, power and the feminist discourse.
Zarin Hainsworth serves as Chairperson of Windows Rights International (WRI) and the United Kingdom Civil Society Women’s Alliance (UKCSWA), She previously served as Chairperson of NAWO and is an Ambassador for NAWO. Zarin also serves Vice President of NGOCSW Geneva. As an entrepreneurs, Zarin if the Founder Serene Communications. She is an Expert on international legal instruments, women entrepreneurs and the environment.
Cllr Samata Khatoon is the recent Mayor of the London Borough of Camden (2024-2025). She was elected as Councillor for St Pancras and Somers Town in 2010, and has since consistently championed housing, education, community safety, and social inclusion. Recognised internationally with women's leadership awards in 2025, Samata forms part of the UK civil society delegation to the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women with a focus on gender equality and ending violence against women and girls.
