The Polish Business Society at the LSE is one of the oldest and most accomplished Polish student societies in the UK. We aim to consolidate the Polish community at our university, help our members develop professionally, and contribute to creating a positive image of Poland and Polish companies abroad. We organise meetings, discussions, and participate in events taking place throughout London and the United Kingdom, as well as in Poland, including the famous LSE, Oxford, Cambridge Christmas Dinner.
Each year in March we meet with the Polish community studying at British universities during our flagship event - the Polish Economic Forum conference in London. PEF remains the largest conference about Poland beyond its borders. With year 2021 marking its 10th anniversary, Forum provides a space for several hundred young Polish professionals to interact with senior representatives of business and government. More than 800 participants, representing start-ups, established companies, consultancies and government agencies, gather to participate in panel discussions, exchange ideas, and meet inspiring people. The evening features an official ball that has grown to be one of the brightest highlights of Polish expat life around the world. We take pride in bringing together the Polish elite of tomorrow to analyse and celebrate Poland’s significant and growing role in the global economy.
Joining our society is a unique chance to become a part of a vibrant and motivated group of students from Poland. As a society, apart from offering our members a direct interaction with professionals from the country's leading companies and a chance to gain valuable experience by organising one of the biggest student-led conferences in the UK, we primarily serve as a platform for establishing long-lasting friendships and meeting fantastic people who support each other in various areas. This is because, besides our activities, we are foremost a group of close friends. Come and join us!
