ABOUT US
As LSESU's first point of call to represent the views of conservative supporters across campus, we are a vibrant, interactive group that offers the chance to frequently meet up with like-minded people. We offer frequent speaker events, socials and dinner party events. With various speakers planned - from MP's and journalists, to think-tank representatives - this will be a year to remember. So don't miss out - join us to discuss everything from Brexit, to capitalism!
For anyone that is seeking to debate, share and explore ideas, then come along and join us!
MEMBERSHIP
We have a one-fit membership plan. Once you've purchased your membership, you have the opportunity to come to all of our events. For those bigger dinner events, this will require an extra fee, but that's up to you if you join. Other than that, it's all to play for! From your membership fee, it will be crucial to go towards all of the many events and socials we are planning this year to make our group the most interactive it has ever been!
Our members are a core part of our group, and you will be part of an inclusive and vibrant community that comes together to have fun and discuss conservative ideas. We will have a weekly newsletter to keep you up to date with all the latest news and information that is happening within our society, so become a member to get the news first!
By being a member, this gives you the chance to voice your ideas in a unique style. You can learn to take on new ideas, and challenge those who are against you. But at the end, we all come together to share our like-minded values and work together to improve the Conservative image!
EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES
There are many events that we are planning to host and continue from previous years:
- Our Port and Policy evenings to discuss policies
- Black tie events
- Speaker events (ranging from MP's to journalists. Past examples have been Fleur Butler MP, Johnny Mercer MP and many more. Look out for more speakers this year from a wider diversity!)
- Pub socials
- Collaborative events with fellow LSESU societies and other London University Conservative societies like King's and UCL
- Be part of our Facebook messenger group chat to continue the discussion online
