About us
We at the Alternative Investments Society host the world’s largest student-run conference on Hedge Funds, Private Equity and Venture Capital. For over 17 years, the LSE SU Alternative Investments Conference has connected students from all over the world with leading industry professionals in alternative investments. The conference boasts 320 student delegates selected from an average application pool of 3,700 coming from more than 80 countries. In recent years we have hosted the following speakers:

As we commemorate our 18th anniversary, we look forward to building on the successful return of a physical conference following AIC 2023, bringing over 300 delegates and more than 60 industry leaders over 2 days. In 2024, we will be returning to an in-person conference on February 12th and Feburary 13th, to be held at the Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square London.
