Grimshaw’s Diplomatic Breakfast is back! This event will take place on 16 October, Friday, 10.00–12.00 at the Shaw Library (Old Building), and will be on a sign-up basis.
Started in 2023, the Diplomatic Breakfast aims to provide exposure to a career in diplomacy by giving students the opportunity to engage with senior diplomats in a relaxed and casual setting. The Diplomatic Breakfast has enjoyed great success in previous iterations with the participation of 28 diplomatic missions (and counting!) across London, and remains one of Grimshaw's most popular events. This year’s Diplomatic Breakfast is generously supported by the Oxonian Diplomatic Chapter.
The event will be on a sign-up basis, with two ticket categories: 55 tickets are available for General Sale, and 12 tickets are available for Executive Sale (committee members volunteering at the event). Regular registration opens 8 October (Thursday) 11am and will close once maximum capacity is reached, while the waiting list will open at 8pm the same day. The dress code is smart casual.
We recommend signing up as soon as possible to avoid disappointment! Please note that membership is required to attend the event. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you next Friday!
This event was organised by Grimshaw VP Belle Venize, Grimshaw President Jinyi Li, and Outreach Officers Aronima Biwas, Carmen Leung, and Phuong Linh Nguyen and Speaker Officer Abhilasha Achary.
