Prof. Dr. h.c. Wolfgang Ischinger, chairman of the Munich Security Conference, will join the LSE German Symposium on 3 February.
One of Europe’s most influential diplomats, he previously served as Germany’s Ambassador to the United States and the United Kingdom and has shaped debates on European and transatlantic security for decades. He also serves on the LSE German Society Advisory Board.
In our session on international security in times of uncertainty for Europe, he will share his perspective on the shifting security order and what it means for Europe’s future; more information will follow soon. ✨
