Marine Tanguy has made a habit of pushing the boundaries of the art world. At 21, she was the youngest gallery manager in Europe when she was in charge of the gallery of Steve Lazarides who discovered Banksy. At 23 years old, she opened her first art venture in Los Angeles on Melrose Avenue, attracting celebrities and collectors like Demi Moore. At 25, Marine founded the first talent agency in the art world in London in 2015: MTArt Agency. The agency provides forward-thinking artists with a diversity of platforms across brands, public art, and fine art institutions. It was listed on the Sunday Times Power list and has been supported by investors like Fréderic Jousset, Simon de Pury, Todd Ruppert and Saul Klein. An advocate for the role of artists in society, Marine Tanguy published her first book with Penguin "The Visual Detox" in 2024 to encourage visual literacy and active participation in our visual culture. She was previously awarded Forbes 2018 30 under 30, UK entrepreneur of the year for the 2019 NatWest Awards, and 2023 Hurun entrepreneur of the year under 35.
