European Research Symposium is our Society’s flagship academic conference, hosted this year at the Shaw Library on campus. It will bring together students and professionals to debate some of the most pressing policy challenges facing Europe today, and will offer attendees exclusive opportunities to network and hear insights from leading experts in academia and policymaking. The event will also feature policy-relevant project presentations by researchers from our in-house European affairs think tank, the European Policy Lab.
The Symposium will start at around 9am on 4 March and will run throughout most of the day, with the official programme finishing at around 5pm, followed by a closing ceremony and networking.
Several thematic speaker sessions will take place across the day, each focused on a different area of contemporary European affairs. You do not need to buy separate tickets for individual sessions: one ticket grants access to all thematic sessions and other engagements. The finalised schedule will be published soon—please keep an eye on our social media channels for updates.
