Journalism under pressure: Do ARD, ZDF and the BBC have a future? We are delighted to host Christoph Prössl, Luisa Nuhr and Mark Damazer as speakers at the German Symposium! They will discuss the challenges which established journalism faces both in the UK and Germany.
Christoph Prössl is London head of bureau and UK correspondent for the German broadcaster ARD. He previously reported from Berlin and Brussels, covering EU and German politics.
Luisa Nuhr is a leading editor at „The Pioneer“, a Berlin-based media outlet focusing on newsletters and podcasts. Having previously worked as a consultant, she brings fresh perspectives on journalism as a business model.
Mark Damazer CBE was Deputy Director of the BBC’s news division and Contoller of BBC Radio 4 and Radio 7. More recently, he was Master at St Peter’s College at Oxford University.
On Friday, February 6, our speakers will explore how reliable reporting can persist in an era of economic pressure and political polarization. Tickets for the Symposium are available now!
