Ambient music making with Ableton Live 12. Students are encouraged to bring any DAW they are comfortable working in. Class will be taught on Ableton Live, but demonstrations will vary on other DAWs. We will cover a short history of ambient music, discuss waveforms, oscillators, filters, and envelopes to understand the fundamentals of ambient music production. This course will be very beginner friendly and will serve as a coworking space for students who want to learn more about music production through other students.
Access to Ableton will be provided, but students are encouraged to bring whatever DAW they are comfortable with (Music production software).
