KSW.3.02, LSE campus
Free
Welcome to the first-ever event hosted by the newly formed LSESU society, AGENDA! AGENDA is short for the Society Against the Attention Economy and Digital Addiction. In this GIAG (Give it a go) session, we will be sharing different perspectives on this topic, and discuss potential actions that can create change, as well as the future of the society. How does scrolling affect society and mental health, and are politicians doing enough to regulate it? Are big tech firms operating on completely unresitricted terms, while making billions? And most importantly, what can we, as students, do to help this cause?
For those who want to be further involved in running AGENDA, we can talk about potential commitee roles as well. There will also be an opportunity to socialise at one of the LSE bars after the session, for those of age who are interested.
Tickets are free, and all LSE students are welcome, so feel free to bring a friend along! For those who cannot make the 7th of October, there is an identical GIAG session on the 8th of October.
